Job Description:
Registered Manager – Children's Residential
Location: Ilford, Essex – IG1 area
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate
Home: Established 3–5 bed Children's Residential Home

Hours: Full-time
The Opportunity
Ashford Recruitment are proud to bring to the market an opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join an established and growing children's residential provider in the Ilford area.
The provider currently operates seven children's homes, with six located within approximately a 4–5 mile radius of Ilford. The homes provide care and support for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and behaviours that may challenge.
Six of the seven homes are currently rated Good by Ofsted, with one home currently rated Requires Improvement.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to take responsibility for their own home while benefiting from a strong management, quality and compliance infrastructure around them.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
The Registered Manager retains ownership, responsibility and final decision-making for their home, but has access to a wider support structure designed to reduce the additional administrative burden that can often fall on Registered Managers.
You will have support from:

- Dedicated governance and compliance support.
- An experienced Responsible Individual.
- Directors and senior management.
- The provider's own staffing agency for temporary staffing requirements.

There is a strong emphasis on understanding the challenges faced by Registered Managers and working collaboratively to find practical solutions.
